Why microbonds

Bonds the size ofa grain of rice.

A microbond is a few strands of 100% human hair sealed with a tiny keratin tip and fused to a small section of your own hair. There is no tape line and no weft to hide, so you can wear it up, tie it back and run your hands through it.

    Consultation

    We look at your hair in daylight, talk about the length and fullness you want, and test a strand to match the shade.

    Hair matched

    We match your colour, then order the hair in or choose it from our stock, blended across two or three tones if your hair has them.

    Fitting day

    Bonds placed row by row, a finger's width from the scalp, then cut and blended into your own hair.

    Two-week check

    A short visit to check every bond is comfortable and to answer anything that came up.

    Refit

    As your hair grows, the bonds move down. We take them out, re-tip the hair and fit it again.

Good questions.

Will bonds damage my hair?

Fitted and removed properly, no. Each bond holds a small section of hair, so the weight is spread evenly, and we remove them by hand, strand by strand, never with scissors.

Can I wear my hair up?

Yes. Microbonds are small and sit flat, so a high ponytail or a bun still looks natural.

Can the hair be reused?

Yes. Good quality hair can be reused multiple times, and how long it lasts depends mostly on how you care for it at home after your install. Each rebonding service makes the hair 2 to 3 cm shorter, because we cut off the old bond.

How do I look after them?

Sulphate-free shampoo, a loop brush twice a day, and dry hair in a loose plait at night. We go through it all at the fitting.
